Thump thump
my heart
beating and not knowing it
thump thump
the blood gathers in my head
there he is
as sweet as a lullaby
I can;t help but think
is he the one?
Should I extend my greeting
should I tell him my thoughts?
Confusion
he told me he enjoys my company
could that mean something?
Once again
confusion
but this time
an addition to the feeling enters
frustration
next he extends his greeting
should I take it?
Should I let him in?
Should I push him away and say “no thanks”
should I warmly greet him?
I think and ponder until one more question makes my decision
what does God want?
